Love is in the air! ... and so is the snow!

Good Morning Everyone! I have to say I'm getting really tired of all this snow! It's really the dirty piles that lay on the side of the road that are just ugly and depressing. I miss living out in the country, where our back yard was full of pure white snow and the mountain in the background was beautiful and snow frosted.

I had a lovely long weekend with one of my favorite people and enjoyed staying warm indoors! I did run out to take a few photos of the snow piles we have though... Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy week of Valentine's Day! I had a great weekend shooting a boudoir session AND a newborn session. Both very beautiful sessions and I am very excited to share! Here is one of my favorites, in the spirit of the holiday :)

This little girl was so happy the entire shoot and obviously super adorable! I feel so blessed to help each family make memories with their new little ones. Congratulations to this new Mommy & Daddy! I can't wait to watch her grow :)

*Snowy Monday*

Good Morning! I absolutely love seeing the snow fall this morning, i just wish i was in my cozy bed or snuggled up on the couch with my favorite person! Oh well, there is work to be done! I finished editing an adorable engagement session, also snowy, that turned our beautifully. I think you can really see the love they share and that makes me even more excited to shoot their wedding in September!

Chilly Weather!

Good Wednesday Morning! Can you believe it's only 3 degrees!? Brrr... to warm your thoughts, I wanted to share one of my favorites from a recent engagement session. We had a lot of fun shooting on an abandoned train track with the snowy mountains in the background. Luckily, we had a fairly warm day for January, but the couple warmed my heart either way! I wish them all the best in the future, wherever the road may take them :)

Speaking of Love... It's wedding expo season and I'm excited to hear from all the future brides & grooms! If you know someone who is engaged and needs a photographer, I would love to hear from them! Senior Portraits!

Happy Friday Everyone! The kids should be excited for the snow today as many have 2 hour delays. I miss the days of going to school, just for the fact that sometimes you didn't have to wake up so early! Senior year was probably one of my favorites, there's so much to look forward to and to work on to become who you want to be in the future.

I encourage every senior to remember this special time in their life through a portrait session! Take it from me, you're never going to look or feel exactly like you look now and as things change as you get older, it'll be so cool to look back and remember how you felt your senior year and all the things that you thought you wanted to do or how it's changed. It's very exciting! Why wouldn't you want to keep that forever?! I promise the Senior portrait session is super fun! You get to bring all your favorite outfits and any items that speak to your personality to create something that's truly unique to you. We can even go to your favorite place!

All Senior portrait sessions include 20 wallets that you can hand out to your family and friends... of course more can be ordered if you choose! Great weekend! A portrait to warm your heart...

Despite this rainy Monday, I feel pretty glad I had such a great weekend! I photographed for some personal enjoyment which I really haven't done in awhile! Of course I did shoot some family portraits during the holidays and they are always nice to have, even as much as I have to convince everyone to get their picture taken!

Yesterday I had the wonderful and amazing opportunity to photograph a beautiful little newborn girl! She was so cooperative and patient with the many outfit changes and so were her parents! We spent the afternoon in fun outfits and hats, capturing one of the most incredible times in a person's life. I can't wait to share all of my favorites!

She is one lucky girl to have such an amazing family surrounding her... the photographs really capture the love they share and that is what makes what I do absolutely amazing! This lucky little girl's parents were given the Baby Package for one of their baby shower gifts and now they will have the entire first year of their baby's life captured in photographs to cherish forever! I'm really looking forward to watching this little one grow.
